Considering the current situation in the market, we are offering you alternative product for wall insulation – „KESS“ insulating klinker system:
Technical drawing:

Installation:
Independently of wall structure, the panel can be istalled directly on it (only fixing elements differ). The panel (0,96m2) is attached to the wall with 9 special screws. Than the other panel is attached next to the first one also with 9 screws and so on. In order to seal the joint between panels, special chambers are filled with compressed polyurethane foam. As the panels connect, empty spaces with the size of a brick slip form. When the brick slips are glued into these spaces, the panels become even stronger connected. The last thing to do is to grout the new facing (by the way, the gaps between brick slips are already filled with melted quartz sand – this prevents the system from water). That‘s it, it‘s practically impossible to tell if this is a common brick house or a house, cladded with Kess panels.
Advantages:
- Especially easy and quick installation;
- Especially good thermal insulation characteristics;
- Durability and always fashionable look;
- Energy and heat savings;
- Quick and efficient facade renovation.
Medium apartment house can be brought back to life in just few days. Heat resistance factor would increase 1,65 or 2,42 m2K / W, depending on thickness of the panel, and this would reduce the expenses for public utilities. According to manufacturer‘s calculations you should save up to 32% of expenses for heating.
Thicknesses and thermal characteristics of Kess insulating panels:
- 20 mm – without insulation;
- 60 mm – R = 1,65 (m2K / W);
- 80 mm – R = 2,42 (m2K / W).
Fire resistance characteristics of Kess system are certificated by Building Technologies Institute of Germany according to DIN 4102-B1.
Main differences of Kess system compared to similar products:
- Melted quartz sand is used in the system and assures especially strong connection between the brick slips and the panel (it is tested that in order to pull the brick slip out, the strength of 6,2 N/mm2 is needed) and also prevents the system from water;
- The system can be produced using brick slips of even 3 different size formats (NF, DF, RF);
- The manufacturer offers insulating panels with brick slips of more than 50 different colours and tints.
Kess insulating panel can be produced with klinker brick slips of 4 different German companies. When customer chooses, we will make an offer for all tints, shades and surface textures of desired colour tone. If there are any questions, we will gladly consult. Also we can do the installation works of Kess insulating panels.
