Klinker bricks
|
Klinker bricks are produced in Germany from special klinker clay. Normally klinker bricks‘ water absorption is only up to 7% and this feature has direct influence on durability of the bricks. If water absorption is high, after each rain more and more moisture soak into the brick and at winter time the moisture freezes and begins to destroy the brick from inside. As years go by the bricks begin to crack and loose their aesthetic look. Production process of klinker bricks is finished at the heat of 1100-1400oC, in which klinker clay solidifies and changes its structure, while the production process of usual bricks is finished at the heat of only 700-800oC and the changes of their raw material differ from the klinker clay.
The factory "Glückstädter Klinker" has been producing klinker bricks for 125 years. It‘s a private factory, already run by the third generation of one particular family. We offer you "Glückstädter Klinker‘s" bricks, which trademark in Germany is identified as a synonym for quality, beauty and durability.
