Pins

Pins are used to fix thermal insulation material to a masonry base.

Important: pins should be selected according to the thickness of the insulating layer. Different pin types are designed for use with different types of insulation material and masonry, so pins should be selected based on the recommendations of the manufacturer. Other types of pins that are not indicated in the documentation for insulation work must not be used.

Due to a variety of factors, one type of masonry can have different strength properties in different construction projects, and therefore the anchoring properties of selected pins must be tested on-site (tests are conducted and documented by the supplier of the pins).
