Bracket extensions
Bracket extensions are fasteners that are used to extend brackets when the standard length is not enough or if there is great planar deviation. Extensions are also used when additional supports must be installed for aluminium profiles in deeper façade planes. These elements are fastened to brackets by using stainless steel self-tapping screws (fixed joint)(see figure below).
Bracket extensions are manufactured from aluminium alloy AlMg0.5Si0.5 (EN-AW 6060) or AlMg0.7Si0.4 (EN-AW 6063).
- Flexible joint bracket extensions
- Lightweight fixed joint extensions
- Fixed joint extensions
Flexible joint bracket extensions are used for attaching guide profiles to the exterior wall. If necessary, they can be manufactured to have elliptical or round holes for fixed joint fastening.
